This is a race day time line and info sheet for all volunteers at package pickup on Friday and  Race Day, Saturday. Please read it carefully prior to race day.

Teams and Duties Outline
All great events have one thing in common: Great Volunteers!
This event is no different, and we could really use your help to make this year’s event one of the best. 
As a volunteer you will receive the following as a token of our appreciation for all your hard work and dedication to this event. (See below)

Package Pick-Up 

Saturday  before the race -  noon to 4 pm

Location TBA soon

help out with athlete registration and packet pickup.

 Sunday  Race Day Positions Needed
(Total needed - 30 volunteers)     from 6 am to 11:30 am 

Athlete Check in: (4 needed) 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Volunteers will help set up the athlete check in station, as well as help with early morning check in. 
While answering any general questions athletes might have on race morning.

Finish Line and Timing Company Team: (6 needed) 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Volunteers will assist timing company with race timing issues only. Also, help all athletes after they cross the finish line, with their chip removal, while directing athletes to the recovery area.  
(Immediately alert medical personnel if an athlete requires special attention)
And finally place finisher’s medals on all athletes.

Aid Station Teams: (16 needed) 7:00 a.m. to 9:30

We will have 4 teams of 4 volunteers at each aid station to hand out water and recovery drinks.
Volunteers will set up the water tables, hand out water, and clean up the area once the last runner has passed.

Race Course Team: (6 needed) 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Volunteers will set up directional signage / banners on race course prior to the race and drop off water station tables and supplies.

Clean Up Team: (6 needed) 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Volunteers will help clean up all the debris left by the athletes, pick up any event
signage and clean up the parking lot area from expo.  At Finish line area
